NBBF PREMIER LEAGUE FINAL 8 HOLDS IN LAGOS

Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) premier league final 8 is set to kick off Monday, 7th 2022, at the Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere Lagos.

Disclosing earlier by the president of NBBF, Engr Musa Kida - expressed the final 8 as a testimonial of the commitment of his board to reposition basketball in Nigeria.
Featuring in the league scheduled to hold from November 7- 12 are Gombe Bulls, Kano pillars, Benue Braves, Kwara falcons, Lagos Islanders, Nigeria customs and Rivers Hoopers.

Speaking in a chat with journalists, the NBBF boss said the final 8 of the league would provide fans the opportunity to relive fond memories of basketball and once again enjoy exciting, but competitive matches. Hence, urged enthusiasts and lovers of the big men game to storm Lagos and enjoy top quality matches.

Engr Kida further explained that in showing the commitment to the development and growth of basketball in the country, the final 8 is one of the several competitions and programmes slated by the NBBF board to revitalise the game in Nigeria.

It should be noted, at the end of the Final 8 competition in Lagos, Nigeria's representative to the 2023 Basketball Africa league (BAF), scheduled to hold in Kigali, Rwanda shall emerge.
