MUSHIN LGA OF LAGOS TO OWN A NEW MINI STADIUM

Mushin local government area (LGA) of Lagos State moves up to set in among LGA's harbouring mini stadium. The new mini stadium project is a result of the goodwill of the Archbishop John Kwao Amuza (JKA) Aggrey Foundation.

The Aggrey Foundation has commenced construction of a mini  stadium in Ilasamaja, Mushin LGA of Lagos, in memory of the late indigenous Catholic Archbishop of Lagos Archdiocese. 

The JKA Aggrey Foundation, according to its Executive Vice President, Sir Albert Fadonougbo, is established to continue to propagate, promote and participate in the ideals and legacy of Archbishop JKA Aggrey.

The launch of the foundation and fundraiser was graced by the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa in absential, he was represented by the law maker of Kosofe constituency 1, Sanni Okanlawon.

The foundation which is all about charity, unity, intervening in social welfare, health, youth education and skill empowerment took a step further with the youth interest at heart by constructing a mini stadium which commenced recently.

The head coach, FC Robo Queens, Emmanuel Osahon, hailed the efforts of the foundation at ensuring that youths in Mushin community were kept busy. 

Hence, he urged the government to complement the efforts of the foundation in sporting activities, especially in Mushin area of Lagos.
