The squad comprises top players predominantly from the Premier League, with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford making the cut. In the goalkeeping department, Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale is in the team, but there was no place for Man United shot-stopper Dean Henderson.

All is now set for the global showpiece, after the North African side ended their warm-up matches with a 0-0 draw against Paraguay in Spain. They head to Qatar as the 22nd best team in the world and the second ranked team from Africa, behind number one on the continent and reigning AFCON champions Senegal.
