Ivan Toney, Tammy Abraham and Jarrod Bowen 'not in England World Cup squad'

Tammy Abraham, Ivan Toney and Jarrod Bowen haven't made the cut for Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad announced on Thursday afternoon.
According to reports both men will not be part of Southgate's 26-man squad which will travel to Qatar. Abraham found the net for the first time since September on Wednesday night, in Roma's midweek Serie A clash with Sassuolo, but it wasn't enough to convince Southgate.
Toney, on the other hand, has notched eight times this season - and the Englishman to find the net more than the Brentford man is Harry Kane. But The Telegraph are reporting that both strikers have missed out on the final selection.
It could be good news for Newcastle's Callum Wilson, who has hit a vein of form in recent weeks.
Bowen is also set to miss out with the West Ham winger failing to capture the magic of last season, despite a prolonged run in the England set-up. Bowen's snub could clear a path for James Maddison to make his return to the Three Lions.
Maddison has been electric for Leicester City this season, and a Man of the Match display against Everton might just have twisted Southgate's hand.
