Gerard Pique played no part in his farewell appearance after being sent off. Retiring defender, 35, remonstrated with referee Jesus Gil Manzano at half-time. Pique, who was among Barcelona's substitutes, was sent off in the tunnel.

Referee's report claimed Pique told the official he was a 'f**king disgrace'
Gerard Pique went out all guns blazing in his final appearance as a player in Spanish football - sent off at half time for a verbal tirade at match officials in Barcelona's win over Osasuna.

After the emotion of his Camp Nou farewell at the weekend Pique had a reduced role as a substitute in Barcelona's last game before the World Cup.

But there was no way he was going to stay in the shadows and after referee Jesus Gil Manzano sent off Robert Lewandowski and allowed an Osasuna goal despite appeals from Barcelona that Marcos Alonso had been fouled he sought out match officials on the field at the half time whistle and then in the tunnel.
