Barca draw Man Utd in Europa League knockout round play-off

FC Barcelona have been drawn against Manchester United in the Europa League knocked out play off. The first leg of the play off round of the UEFA Champions League will be played on 16th of February at Spotify Camp Nou and the away leg a week later on 23rd February at the Old Trafford.

The catalan side were eliminated from the Champion's league after failing to get out of the group that include Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Victoria Plezen. 

Meanwhile the United nagrrowly finished second in the group stage of the Europa League which include the Laliga side Real Sociedad.
The Europa League knockout round play-offs involve the eight runners-up from the Europa League groups and the other eight places go to the third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage.

The two sides have faced each other 13 times in European competition, although Man Utd have only won three of these meetings.

Their last European match-up was in the 2018/2019 quarter-finals with Barcelona winning 4-0 on aggregate.

The winners go into the last-16 along with these teams Arsenal,Betis,Fenerbahce,Ferencvaros,Feyenoord,Freiburg,Real Sociedad and
Union Saint-Gilloise.
