Old foes and former colleagues will reunite at Stamford Bridge on Sunday lunchtime as Chelsea tackle Arsenal in a mouth-watering Premier League London derby.

Both sides enter the game on the back of continental successes, as the Blues got the better of Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 in the Champions League, while the Gunners advanced to the last 16 of the Europa League.

Manchester United will travel to Aston villa in a bid to increase their chance of the top 4 spot. The match kicks off at 15:00 CAT

Southampton is going head to head with Newcastle United starting at 14:00 CAT at St. Mary's Stadium stadium, Southampton city, England.  Currently, Southampton rank 18th, while Newcastle United hold 4th position.

West Ham United will be bidding to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they welcome Crystal Palace at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Hammers are currently 13th in the table, having picked up 14 points from their opening 13 matches of the season, while Palace occupy 10th, boasting 16 points from their 12 matches this term.

Tottenham Hotspur take on Liverpool in a huge clash in the Premier League on Sunday.

The visitors are languishing eight points behind the top four places ahead of the weekend's action, while Spurs are six points behind league leaders Manchester City.

Why is Chelsea vs Arsenal being played at 12pm on Sunday? Unusual kick-off time explained

The Gunners will hope that playing at an uncommon time will not affect their chances of preserving their lead at the top of the Premier League when they take on Chelsea today.

Arsenal and Chelsea rekindle their long standing rivalry today when both sides go head-to-head in Sunday’s London derby clash in the Premier League.

Both sides were in European action in midweek as the Blues brought a close to their Champions League group stage campaign against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday, before the Gunners did the same in the Europa League against FC Zurich on Thursday.

But Sunday’s 1pm kick-off time between the two sides at Stamford Bridge has raised plenty of eyebrows ahead of the game, so here is everything you need to know as Arsenal prepare to take on Chelsea.

Why is the match taking place on Sunday?

Due to Arsenal being in Europa League action on Thursday, their fixture with Chelsea had to be pushed back 24 hours from Saturday, November 5 to Sunday, November 6.

This is because there has to be a minimum of 48 hours between fixtures, while it also allows the players enough time to rest between games, whilst also factoring in travel time and recovery periods.

Manchester United and West Ham, who were also in European action on Thursday, are playing their fixtures against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, respectively, on Sunday as well.

What are the usual Premier League kick-off times?

There are usually two Premier League fixtures that are fulfilled on Sunday’s and these will be split between the kick-off times of 3pm and 5:30pm.

This is to enable live coverage of both fixtures, although there are often added games to the 3pm schedule on weekends that succeed European midweeks
