Adebayo Akinfenwa set to make professional wrestling bebut after retiring from football.

Adebayo Akinfenwa who just retired from football few months ago will make his professional wrestling debut later this month.

The 40 year old, will be joining forces with the great Olympian Anthony Ogogo with Malik in progress wrestling on the 23rd of October.

Akinfenwa, spoke exclusively that the wrestler tag has been with him for a bit  “ I guess I’m built more like a wrestler than a footballer, that’s what people always say.

“But live always been into wrestling since I was  very young. I’m a father now and my kids are into wrestling. When I say in going to be a wrestler, I’m going to dip my toe in the whole wrestling.

 “I’ve known Anthony Ogogo for a while, years. We came across each other when he was a boxer and stayed in contact and the wrestling thing never went away.”

“He unfortunately couldn’t box anymore and he found that love with wrestling and he hit me up and said: “Listen you want to try a few bits”
